We have a local business office in the city of Barnaul, the capital of the Altai Krai region in Siberia, through which we have been importing agricultural products, such as mountain vegetables (brackens), for approximately 35 years.
Russia’s bracken is highly appreciated in Japan because of its excellent quality in terms of length, thickness, and taste.
The Altai Krai region, which is immersed in abundant natural surroundings, is one of the most productive agricultural zones in Russia, where grains, such as common wheat and buckwheat, and sunflower, the national flower of Russia, are primarily grown, among other things. The region is also well known as one of the largest production centers of natural honey and medicinal herbs.
By leveraging a strong network of connections built in Russia over the years, we aim to pursue further diversification of our imported product portfolio.
